Styrofoam is both bad for the environment and is a big health risk when exposed.

Recycling styrofoam helps you get rid of it and does it in a way that is good for the environment! REAL is hosting this drive to collect styrofoam. After receiving the donations of styrofoam, REAL: Youth To Youth will transport the styrofoam to the Agilyx Corporation (located in Tigard). They are a company that takes all kinds of styrofoam. The Agilyx Polystyrene-to-Styrene system (PSM) processes waste polystyrene. This system yields a styrene oil that is ready for refining into new products. The Agilyx systems that process this styrofoam yield many valuable products such as gasoline, diesel fuel, fuel oil, lubricants, and even transformed back into plastic. It can be used in agriculture, construction, food packaging, durable goods/products, etc. In addition, their process is environmentally friendly! REAL: Youth To Youth will take your styrofoam to Agilyx to ensure that it is taken care of properly, safely, and in a way that is good for the environment. For more information on Agilyx, visit their website: www.agilyx.com.
