Bored at home during quarantine? REAL: Youth To Youth is holding a 6 class dance workshop starting Saturday, June 5th, 2021 at 4-5 PM. One of our youth board members will teach you all the Bollywood and bhangra moves you need to know for any song at any event. Don’t forget to sign up and pay below! Meeting links will be e-mailed once you have registered and paid for the dance class.

About Our Instructor
Hello! My name is Shriya Prasannan, and I’m excited to be teaching this dance workshop this summer! I am currently a senior at Lincoln High School, and I have been part of REAL: Youth To Youth for the past 5 years and have thoroughly enjoyed every role that I have taken up. I am currently the Co-President of REAL.
I am a Bharathanatyam dancer and my Guru (teacher) is Smt. Radhika Narayanan. I did my Bharathanatyam Arangetram (Debut Dance Performance) in August 2019. I have participated in several dance events around the Portland metro area. Besides Bharathanatyam, I do Bollywood, Bhangra, Giddha, and Garba. I also learn piano and south Indian classical music. My hobbies are drawing and volunteering. I also volunteer for Chinmaya Mission of Portland. I enjoy cooking for the homeless shelter and coaching ELL students. Looking forward to seeing you this summer!
